NEW POST SEPTEMBER 5, 2006       LAB GRADING POLICY

Week1: Some will work with the HP1651A Logic Analyzer (Lab1). Some will work with the MetaLink ICE (Lab 2). Both Labs 1 and 2 are based on your earlier work in the EECE 218 labs using the MC68HC11 microcontroller. Please review your earlier labs and have the required test code ready so that you can focus on using either the logic analyzer or the ICE. You are required to show your pre-lab prep to the TA before starting any work in the Lab.

I have the MC68HC11 assembler and the ICE program on a CD. You may see me before the lab so that you can copy these to your laptop. If you do not already have the assembler you will definitely need to get it before the lab so that your code is assembled and ready to load. Familiarizing yourself with the ICE software ahead of time is optional.

Steve Welch, the TA
