Several activities are being planned for student participants during the workshop.
Best Student Paper Award
There will be a student paper award to recognize the paper judged to be the best student submission. To be eligible for this award, the paper must be authored and presented by a student. Although a faculty co-author is allowed, the student must be the major contributor to the work. Any student that wishes to have his or her paper considered for consideration should select the option on the paper submission form. Papers that do not have the selection made will not be considered.
Student Volunteer Program
There will be a limited need for student volunteers during the workshop. The Student Volunteer Program will maintain a list of volunteers and make advance notification if there is a need for assistance. Any student interested in participating in this program may contact the Student Volunteer Program. Please indicate your full name, school and location, contact information, email address, and expected dates of arrival and departure from Nashville.
Student Activity Based on interest, there may be other student-oriented activities during the workshop. During the first evening, there may be an opportunity for student participants to gather for dinner and to take part in visiting local Nashville attractions. Other opportunities and outings may be scheduled if there is enough participant interest.
