Helpful Files for running Matlab

Put the following files into the first directory on your Matlab path. You can find that diretory by clicking File, clicking Set Path..., and looking at the first directory listed at the top. If your login name on computer is maryjones, then the directory might, for example, be C:\Documents and Settings\fitzpajm\My Documents\MATLAB:

If there are files with that name there already, then replace the old ones with these new ones.

With these files, you can quit in the middle of using Matlab, and it will save all your variables and remember what directory you were in, so that, when you restart Matlab, all will be the same.
