COURSE OBJECTIVE:

This course addresses advanced issues in the design and evaluation of high-performance computer architectures. Topics include RISC design techniques, pipelining, instruction-level parallelism, superscalar systems, high-performance memory systems, storage systems, I/O systems, and performance evaluation.
